I am an artist and designer living in southeastern Pennsylvania. Everything in my shop is my own art, so your purchase supports an American artist. Thank you! I paint intuitively with a strong emotional and even physical response to color, often deciding on the colors I want in a piece before I even decide on the subject. Making art brings much joy and well-being into my life, and I hope to elicit those feelings in the people who live with my work.
The importance of nature as a source of food and also spiritual nourishment is a recurring theme for me, whether it's the ocean or a landscape. I find inspiration where I live in southeastern Pennsylvania, and also in the Outer Banks of North Carolina and Florida.
I sign my art with my middle name, “Anondi”, which means “bliss” in Sanskrit. As a child I lived mainly in India but also part-time in the USA, so I was exposed to both Indian and Western art traditions. I studied fine art at the University of Redlands in California, then graduated Magna Cum Laude with a BFA from Moore College of Art and Design in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
