This painting is about emotional healing and increasing wellbeing, but the process of painting it was also uplifting itself! It expresses the power of nature and the universe, to help us have fulfilling lives through insight and learning to trust ourselves. The colors are symbolic and tie in with several cultures and traditions. Turquoise represents healing from grief, peach is the color of sensuality and bodily awareness, while yellow and white represent wisdom and insight. Green is, for me, about growth and our connection to the earth, and the bright yellow green is about new growth. With this painting's large size of 36" by 36", plus the frame, my feeling is that living with it will provide a soothing and rejuvenating environment.
